Low Q 2 – Intermediate x Structure Function Measurement at HERA

چکیده

The result of a measurement of the proton structure function F 2 (x; Q 2) is reported in an extended kinematic domain at low Q 2 (Q 2 > 0:2 GeV 2) and intermediate Bjorken-x (x < 0:0032) using deep inelastic events with a photon radiation collinear to the incident electron, collected in 1996 by the HERA experiment H1. The rise of F 2 with decreasing x is found to be less steep towards low Q 2 values. Abstract: 535 Parallel sessions: 4 Plenary sessions: 6
